On April 19, 1995, American Christian terrorists bombed the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City. These chairs are part of the 168 chairs symbolizing the lives lost in the bombing. The 19 chairs smaller than the others represent the 19 children who died in the day care center in the building.
